AVIAREPS named sales rep for Visit Orlando, will oversee project work in Canada

Visit Orlando has hired AVIAREPS as the destination’s trade sales representation in the primary key markets, which include Brazil, Mexico, Colombia, the United Kingdom, Ireland, Germany and project work in Canada. 

"AVIAREPS has the ability to adapt international trade concepts to each individual market to promote Orlando with the ultimate goal of increasing visitor numbers and awareness,” said Casandra Matej, president and CEO for Visit Orlando, in a press release. “The agency will be an extension of the Orlando-based team to specifically provide the travel industry with personalized service and education.”

AVIAREP’s duties will include supporting sales strategies and activities, in-market training and ensuring the trade is kept up to date on the destination’s performance. 

These actions will complement Visit Orlando’s efforts to drive international visitors to Orlando through sales efforts, the tourism board says. 

“We feel honoured about the appointment as global representation agency for Visit Orlando, said Thomas Drechsler, COO Tourism at AVIAREPS. “Our strong presence in both Europe and LatinAmerica with owned offices in all key markets allows us a coordinated and localized sales approach.”
