New training module launched for Avalon's exotic cruises

A new online training module for Avalon Waterways will allow travel agents to learn more about the company’s exotic river cruise destinations.

The online module, part of the Avalon Waterways Specialist program, allows agents to learn at their own pace and covers cruise packages such as the Amazon, Galapagos, China, Mekong and – new for 2015 – Myanmar.

According to Avalon, the program takes approximately 30 minutes to complete and the entire course will take about two to two and a half hours plus a final exam.

Avalon is also offering a “Sell 3, Sail for Free” initiative for agents who have taken and passed the Avalon Specialist Course since July 30, 2013 and who sell three or more staterooms on 2014 or 2015 sailings.
