Collette has just launched a brand new tour through Kenya and Tanzania.
This fifteen-day adventure begins in Mt. Kilimanjaro where guests will embark on lively safaris to seek out the elusive “Big 5.” Other highlights include connecting with locals at a bead factory, getting a glimpse into the traditions of native communities, enjoying a full day in Amboseli National Park, and much more.
The maximum group size on this tour is 1 people, keeping in line with Collette's specialty of small group tours.
At a glance
The African Safari: Kenya and Tanzania tour includes 15 days and 14 nights. Travellers begin the first leg of their journey with an overnight flight, and land in Mount Kilimanjaro. Over the course of the next two weeks, travellers will visit Nairobi, where they'll have the chance to see Kenya's famous Big 5 (lion, leopard, rhino, elephant and cape buffalo).
The second leg of the journey takes travellers into Karatu, Tanzania, complete with a visit to the Serengeti.
Thirty-eight meals are included on the trip (13 breakfasts, 13 lunches, and 12 dinners), and Collette has listed this new tour as a level 3 in terms of active status—those who are up for this tour should expect some uphill and downhill walking, and are okay with changes in elevation.
Rates start from $7,369 pp.
