Transat has announced that Maria Pagano has been appointed to the role of Senior Director, Brand & Customer Experience.
She brings more than 15 years of marketing strategy and branding experience in the civil and commercial aviation industry.

Her cutting-edge expertise, data-driven culture and global vision of tourism, and more specifically of air travel, will be a significant asset in the deployment of our strategic plan," said Xavier Szwengler, vice-president of marketing and international markets at Transat.
In her new role, Pagano will oversee the strategic positioning of the Air Transat brand and all the group's brands in both domestic and international markets.
In addition, she will represent the voice of the customer within the organization and implement outstanding and personalized customer experience throughout all travel operations.
Most recently, Maria Pagano led world-class marketing campaigns and drove strategic brand initiatives at CAE where she was responsible for marketing the company’s commercial aviation training portfolio of products and services targeting airlines and the global pilot community.
She has also held marketing management positions at Bombardier and Bus.com.
