Gabriela Benedetto becomes Majestic’s new BDM for Canada

Canadian travel advisors looking to build their business with Majestic Resorts have a new point of contact: Gabriela Benedetto has been named Majestic’s new business development manager for Canada, PAX has learned.

The role was previously held by Rod Hanna, who now works for the sales team at Park'N Fly.

“Majestic Resorts is a solid and consistent brand that is very well respected in the Canadian market. It takes their business more personal,” Benedetto told PAX on Wednesday (Aug. 2).

She added that working under the direction of Lucien Echavarria, director of sales and strategic partnerships for Canada and the U.S., also brought her to the brand.

“I have so much to learn from her!” said Benedetto, who was previously a BDM for La Coleccion Resorts – Grupo Posadas.

Benedetto said she looks forward to finding new business opportunities and maintaining Majestic’s existing clients.

Her duties include developing business strategies for the luxury all-inclusive resort brand, educating travel advisors, consumers and tour operators, and networking with the trade.

“I'm excited to meet with my Canadian travel agents and show them all that Majestic Resorts has to offer,” Benedetto told PAX. “I'm excited about growing Majestic’s clients and business, and collaborating with my new team, too!”
