Virtuoso has expanded its Canadian team with the recent hiring of Denise Harper, who will oversee partner relations, supporting Virtuoso in Canada, effectively immediately.

Harper, who was previously vice-president of sales for Canada at Exoticca, a small group tour operator, will work with Canadian suppliers to ensure members receive the best product, value add and service in the market.

“Virtuoso partners offer the most incredible travel companies from five-star hotel groups and renowned cruise lines to boutique properties and high-end adventure travel outfitters globally. My role will be to ensure these amazing partners have visibility in the Canadian market and our Virtuoso travel advisors provide the best-in-class offerings to Canadian travellers,” Harper told PAX.

Harper said she’s “honoured to be part of such an incredible company as Virtuoso.”

“Their reputation and brand are very well known and respected in the industry,” she said. “The members and the suppliers are the best of the best. I am really excited to work with both our Canadian suppliers and our global partners and creating strong, long-lasting partnerships.”

Harper is also really looking forward to attending Virtuoso Travel Week which runs from Aug. 12-19 in Las Vegas.

“It will be a fantastic week of networking and connecting – both in-person and virtually – with the top brands and advisors in the travel industry,” Harper said.

She looks forward to connecting with travel industry colleagues, at any time, through virtuoso.com.

Úna O'Leary, general manager of Virtuoso Canada, is thrilled to have Harper on the team.

"I am so happy to have a great team in Canada supporting Virtuoso advisors and partners,” O'Leary told PAX. “With our recent additions of Denise and Augustine Kwong, account representative, member relations, we are ready to grow the business in Canada coast-to-coast.”
