Alex Delamere-White appointed CCO of Hurtigruten Expeditions

Hurtigruten Expeditions announced the appointment of Alex Delamere-White as its new chief commercial officer (CCO) on July 13.

For over a decade, Delamere-White has led multi-site sales and marketing, e-commerce and loyalty programs teams for Carnival UK, including P&O Cruises, Cunard and Princess Cruises.

Most recently he was chief commercial officer for property developer McCarthy Stone.

“Bringing this depth of industry talent into our global, commercial team at a time when we are seeing incredible interest in our expedition products, will continue to strengthen our position,” said Daniel Skjeldam, CEO of Hurtigruten Group.

Based out of the London office, Delamere-White will lead a team on an interim basis that includes Nathaniel Sherborne, the newly appointed vice-president of sales and marketing, UK, and Nordics, formerly Carnival UK.

Expanding in China

Hurtigruten Expeditions has also expanded its APAC division with four new team members serving Greater China.

Led by APAC managing director Damian Perry, the company has named Joe Zoe as China sales director responsible for Greater China (Mainland China, Taiwan and Hong Kong), and Sabrina (Hui) Ju, Nora (Junru) Huang, Yolan (Yan) Wang and Belle (Sijia) Liu as members of the sales team.

 The global team will be fully underway by August 1.
