Signature unveils adults-only resort in Dominican Republic

Signature Vacations is opening a five-star, adults-only resort in Punta Cana, Dominican Republic, adding to its collection of RIU Hotels and Resorts. Riu Republica, set to open in June 2016, is a 24-hour all-inclusive resort located on the Macao beachfront. Surrounded by tropical gardens, the resort has two large infinity pools, free wi-fi, concierge service, modern fitness centre, Jacuzzi, steam bath, and a Renova Spa with beauty parlour and massage service. Dining options include three à la carte restaurants: Tagliatella, which specializes in Italian classics; Kaori, which serves up Asian cuisine; and Quisqueya, a grill-steakhouse by the pool. A week at Riu Republica is available from $965 plus $465 taxes per person based on two people sharing a standard room on an all-inclusive basis, departing from Toronto on June 5, 2016.
