On March 27, Club Med opened the doors of its brand new eco-chic Club Med Exclusive Collection Resort in one of the most exceptional destinations in the Indian Ocean: Seychelles.
The official inauguration ceremony took place on April 21, in the presence of the President of Club Med, Henri Giscard d'Estaing, as well as several high-level personalities of the Seychelles, including the president of this republic, Wavel Ramkalawan
Club Med has opened its second Exclusive Collection Resort on the African continent by taking over an existing hotel owned by the New Mauritius Hotels group, which has invested €70 million in the renovation and restructuring of the resort .
Located in the heart of the Seychelles archipelago, in a protected reserve, this corner of paradise of 220 hectares is home to only one hotel: the eco-chic Club Med, thus giving its customers "the sweet impression" of being alone in the world.
“Opening a Resort in the Seychelles has been close to our hearts for many years ... and we could not ask for a more beautiful setting than Île Sainte-Anne to open this new jewel of our Club Med Exclusive Collection. The Seychelles archipelago is endowed with everything our customers can dream of: an environment of exceptional and unspoiled natural beauty, magnificent beaches, a rich culture and above all a particularly warm, welcoming population renowned for its professionalism ”, said Henri Giscard d'Estaing.
The President of Club Med also sees in this opening “the symbol of a Club Med which is moving forward despite the crisis and innovating for the happiness of its customers, its teams and the communities that welcome it."
