The opening of the Baha Mar resort property has been delayed yet again, with no opening date in sight. According to recent reports by The Bahamas Tribune, a dispute over payment between the site’s owners and the main contractor is being suggested as the cause behind the delay. While reservations are currently being accepted at two of the development’s four hotels as of Sept. 8, no official opening date has been announced, according to the publication. Originally set to open last December, the opening was then pushed back to March 27. Days before the opening, however, reports surfaced of incomplete work on several of the resorts, which pushed the unveiling back until at least May.
