Princess Cruises has announced the cancellation of two major cruises scheduled for early 2021, namely the World Cruises cruise that the Island Princess was to take from North America and the Circle South America cruise that the Pacific Princess was to take. from Australia.
Princess attributes the cancellations to restrictions on access to borders and ports determined by governments and health authorities, as well as continuing uncertainty surrounding air travel.
“We share in the disappointment of this cancellation for guests of our world cruises because it’s a pinnacle cruise vacation experience, booked by some of our most loyal guests,” said Jan Swartz, Princess Cruises president.
FCC bonus or refund
Customers who booked canceled cruises will receive a refundable Future Cruise Credit (FCC) equal to 100 per cent of the cruise fare paid, along with a non-refundable bonus of 25 per cent of the cruise fare paid. To receive the above FCCs, no action is required by the customer or their travel agent.

Princess will protect travel agent commissions on cancelled cruise bookings that have been paid in full. The company says it wants to recognize the crucial role that advisors play in the business and success of the cruise line.
