The Norwegian Escape, Norwegian’s largest ship and the first in its Breakaway Plus Class, was christened in Miami this week during a spectacular event at Port Miami.
Led by singer Pitbull, who served as the Escape’s godfather, special guests included NCL’s CEO Frank Del Rio, Miami-Dade County Mayor Carlos Gimenez and Guy Harvey, the artist who created the Escape’s hull artwork.
Attendees were treated to a special sneak peak of the Escape’s entertainment offerings, including performances by the casts of Tony Award-winning Broadway shows After Midnight and Million Dollar Quartet, before Pitbull took the stage to perform a selection of his hits.
