Global travel management company FCM is growing its footprint in the Middle East and Africa after signing a partnership agreement with Hari Om Travels in Senegal.

The addition of the West African country to the FCM network reflects “FCM’s focus on strategic growth and extends its operations to 30 markets across the region,” according to a press release.

FCM’s Managing Director of Middle East and Africa Ciarán Kelly explained the decision to expand operations into Senegal was driven by customer needs, while recognizing considerable business development opportunities the country offers.

“Senegal is without a doubt an exciting market for business travel. Not only are we seeing increasing demand from existing customers travelling to the country, prospects across the wider region are increasingly expressing strong interest for international TMC support too,” Kelly stated.

FCM says its latest venture strengthens its local representation in West Africa and builds upon a successful business relationship with Hari Om Travels, which already provides on the ground travel support for FCM clients travelling in the Gabon and the Congo.

“We are thrilled to extend our partnership with Hari Om Travels and solidify our local expertise and service offerings in Senegal while harnessing the growth potential of this dynamic country across a diverse range of sectors,” said Kelly. “Their highly experienced and knowledgeable staff complements FCM’s technology and global expertise and will be a great asset to FCM’s clients.”

Established in 2009, Hari Om Travels is regarded as a leading regional travel provider having earned a strong reputation for delivering high levels of service and 24/7 support to its business travel clients.

The Dakar office services the leisure and corporate travel needs of national and multi-national businesses primarily within the oil, petrochemicals, construction, and others.

"We are delighted to build upon an already successful partnership with FCM to provide their  clients with valued local support while travelling in Senegal,” said Raj Kriplani, Hari Om Travels’ managing director. “We look forward to  expanding our collective customer base and extending services for local clients with the backing of FCM’s significant resources, superior technology and global network.”
