WestJet launches new Rewards tiers promotions

With the launch of WestJet's new Rewards tiers, the carrier is also launching two limited-time offers for members to achieve Gold flight benefits.

The Fast Track offer awards Gold flight benefits to registered members with a qualifying flight spend of $1,500 for WestJet flights flown between today and Jan. 31, 2015. The Status Match offer provides Gold flight benefits to members with top-tier status in another Canadian airline's frequent flyer program. Members must have a minimum of 25,000 qualifying miles or 25 qualifying flight segments and provide valid proof of status in order to qualify for Status Match.

Gold flight benefits include 10 airport lounge vouchers, four advance seat selection vouchers, no charge for first and second checked bags, no fee to change to an earlier or later flight on same day of travel, priority security screening at select airports and advance boarding. Qualifying members will enjoy Gold flight benefits until Feb. 29, 2016.

The three Rewards tiers - Teal, Silver and Gold - allow Rewards members to enjoy higher WestJet dollar earn rates and milestone awards. The tiers also offer easy-to-use flight benefits, like a free checked bag, lounge and advance seat selection vouchers in Silver. Gold members enjoy another free checked bag, advance boarding, priority security screening and other valued amenities.
