VIDEO: Air Transat’s mobile app gets a makeover

Air Transat has unveiled a brand-new interface for its mobile app to simplify the user experience.

The redesigned app accompanies Air Transat’s travellers every step of the way by providing contextual and timely information for pre-trip preparation, for their outbound and return flights and at their destination, reads a press release issued Thursday (March 2).

It also allows users to check in online, track their flight status, access their travel documents and more.

In addition, for clients who booked a package, it is possible to consult the schedule of welcome sessions and airport transfers, to communicate with a Transat representative at any time, to view the excursions purchased before their departure, and to obtain their check-out time.

Finally, it also allows travellers to easily locate links to add inflight services such as Option Plus, inflight extras and meal pre-order.

Travel advisors are invited to watch the video below to get an overview of the available features.

“Stay tuned!,” Transat said. “These first changes are only the beginning. New features will be added throughout the year.”

Travellers can download or update the latest version of the Air Transat mobile app as of today (March 2).
