Transat to lease additional B737s for sun season

Air Transat has signed two agreements for the seasonal leasing of Boeing 737 narrow-body aircraft, which will carry travellers to sun destinations during the winter.
The agreements - made with French airline Europe Airpost and Czech carrier Travel Service Airlines - cover the leasing of two B737-700s and two B737-800s, with respective capacities of 148 and 189 seats. The aircraft will be operated on Air Transat’s Mexico and Caribbean sun destinations routes, read a statement from Europe Airpost.The announcement marks the completion of Transat's narrow-body internalization plan for winter 2014–2015, which began in July 2013, according to the statement.
