American Express Global Business Travel (GBT) has enhanced its unused ticket management offering with the release of The Future Travel Credit (FTC) Management Solution.
FTC is a service that provides a name transfer process on unused travel credits with Canadian airlines, ensuring timely use of the unused, non-refundable tickets.
In real time, GBT Canada will match itineraries with an organization’s pool of unused travel credits, facilitating the completion of a name change.
The FTC Management Solution includes a help-desk that ensures unused travel credits are applied profitably across an organization’s travelling population, identifying and prompting the use of credits for bookings made through GBT online and over the phone. The solution also supplies customers with data needed for accounting, reconciliation and allocation purposes.
The FTC Management Solution is customizable, allowing organizations to decide how long credits belong to individual travellers before they are reissued to colleagues within the organization. The FTC Management Solution will also ensure that a credit is not used or reallocated unless it generates a net savings.
