A Flair Airlines aircraft ran off the runway at Waterloo Region International Airport on Friday morning (Nov. 25), according to reports.
In a report by CityNews, the plane, which originated in Vancouver, had 134 people on board. There are no reported injuries.
According to FlightAware, F8501 departed Vancouver late Thursday night.
Flair says its plane, a Boeing 737, “exited the runway” after it landed.
"Passengers deplaned the aircraft and were taken to the terminal by bus," the airline wrote on its Twitter account Friday morning. "The safety and well-being of our passengers and crew is our top priority."
It's unclear what caused the plane to exit the runway. The Transportation Safety Board (TSB) of Canada said it is investigating the incident.
The Region of Waterloo International Airport said it will be closed to commercial traffic for the rest of Friday.
This is a developing story.
