Both Air Canada and WestJet have announced that they will re-introduce four-hour non-stop service from Toronto to Grand Cayman, with connections across Canada.
Air Canada Rouge begins non-stop service as of Dec. 4, 2021, with WestJet returning on Dec. 16, 2021 allowing more Canadians to enjoy the distinct virtues of the Cayman Islands - Grand Cayman, Cayman Brac and Little Cayman - which began welcoming fully vaccinated international leisure guests without quarantine beginning Nov. 20, 2021.
Working closely with health authorities, and the public and private sector, the Cayman Islands introduced a multi-phase plan to carefully and safely re-open the islands.
Now in Phase 4 of its five-part plan, the luxury destination is well positioned to ensure a safe return to tourism and offer its unique brand of polished experiences to discriminating travellers seeking peace of mind.
Public Health officials say they are continuing to monitor the prevalence rate and spread of COVID-19.
Transition between phases will be determined by a myriad of factors. At all phases, all inbound travellers are required to make a declaration of travel and vaccination status on the Travel Cayman Portal, and present the declaration certificate and vaccination documents along with proof of a negative COVID-19 PCR test upon arrival.
