WestJet and Disney have teamed up for a second custom-painted aircraft, this time featuring the characters from Frozen, marking the carrier's second Disney-themed plane.
The aircraft, unveiled this weekend, features Frozen's Anna, Elsa and Olaf on the exterior, with the theme carried through to the interior of the aircraft with images on the overhead bins, bulkheads, lavatory mirrors and headrests.
According to WestJet, the Frozen plane’s painting team included members from Canada, the United States and Germany, who worked 24 hours a day in 12-hour rotations over 21 days to complete the paint job.
Previously, WestJet and Disney partnered for the carrier’s Magic Plane featuring Sorcerer Mickey, which was unveiled in 2013.
