TTI Travel has announced the appointment of Lyell Farquharson as president, which went into effect on Sept. 15, 2022.

Farquharson will oversee all lines of business and operations in addition to managing strategic partnerships and business development opportunities.

Prior to joining the travel industry Lyell was an EVP with a private equity company and is a certified public accountant.

“Lyell was very instrumental in guiding TTI through the challenges of COVID and helping us come out of it a ‘stronger and better’ company. I have known Lyell for many years, and I like others in our industry, highly respect him for his expertise, experience, and industry knowledge. I’m looking forward to working alongside him, as we pursue the many opportunities presenting themselves in the marketplace” said Rocky Racco, CEO TTI Travel. “We strongly believe that Lyell will enable TTI to pursue its goal to be recognized as the leading boutique Travel Management company in Canada servicing discerning business and leisure travellers’.

Farquharson added: “I’ve worked alongside many of TTI’s Leadership Team and staff in the past and respect and admire how they worked very hard to keep their team engaged and connected during the past couple of years. Together I feel we can make a positive difference for our clients, key partners, and the travel industry overall."
