Web Reservations Agent



This position is accountable for assisting clients and third party vendors with travel bookings and related inquiries through our Call Centre, the internet and email. The Web Reservations Agent will process customer air only, package vacations and travel insurance purchases. Hours of work for the Web Reservation Agents include various shifts, weekends and general holidays.


  • Answer calls in timely, courteous and professional manner
  • Process bookings with accuracy and detail
  • Consistently meet individual performance targets
  • Stays current on products, services, promotions, procedures and technology
  • Identify and solve challenges
  • Re-book clients if required
  • Queue all Sabre bookings
  • Respond to customer inquiries through email and telephone; assist customers with questions including baggage, documentation required and seat selection
  • Sell insurance and vendor products
  • Help in troubleshooting website issues/problems
  • Advise and assist clients with payment options such as deposits, full payment, future travel credit, gift cards and direct deposit
  • Resolve all issues with files returned due to price or credit card discrepancies, contacting clients as necessary
  • Send invoices and e-tickets to clients
  • Communicate with 3rd party vendors and tour operators as necessary
  • Other duties and projects as assigned


Required Education, Experience and Skills

  • Travel and Tourism Diploma preferred
  • 1 to 3 years’ experience in a related role
  • Must be TICO certified
  • Superior customer service skills
  • Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)
  • Strong knowledge of MS Office
  • Exceptional problem solving, organizational and prioritizing skills
  • Attention to detail, data entry accuracy and speed
  • Experience with Sabre, GDS and Clientlinq an asset
  • Ability to work rotating shifts including weekends and holidays
  • Bilingual (French/English) preferred
